LSU Football is gearing up for its first SEC home matchup of the 2023 college football season, facing the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday. Arkansas is coming off of a tough loss to BYU and hasn’t yet seen any SEC play, while LSU is riding the high of that 41-14 win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Can Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers connect like they did in Week 3? How much impact will Logan Diggs and Kaleb Jackson have? Have Whit Weeks and Greg Penn solidified their spots on the secondary?

The latest LSU Football News surrounds Greg Brooks and the statement his family recently put out. Brooks underwent emergency surgery for a brain tumor on Friday. After complaining of dizziness and what was thought to be vertigo, Brooks got an MRI on Wednesday. The Brooks family said the mass was successfully removed, but they’re waiting on the biopsy results. Brian Kelly mentioned that when he visited Brooks in the hospital on Sunday, Brooks was under heavy sedation. But Brooks did mention to Kelly before surgery that he intended to play again this season. LSU will face off with Arkansas, Greg Brooks’ former program, on Saturday in Tiger Stadium.

After signing a groundbreaking contract, Kim Mulkey has also just been immortalized with her own statue on Louisiana Tech University’s campus. During her time at LA Tech, Kim Mulkey went 130-6 as a player, won the 1981 AIAW Championship, won the 1982 Inaugural NCAA Championship, as an All-American, went 430-68 as an assistant coach, advanced to 7 Final Fours and won the 1988 NCAA Championship.
