On to Week 8 of College Football, but before we look to this weekend, we have to recap week 7.
Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State all handled business but the same can't be said about the Oregon Ducks.
Oregon went to Seattle to face the Washington Huskies on the road, and came up 3 points short after a missed field goal that would have tied it up near the end of the game. Washington remains unbeaten after monster games from Michael Penix Jr and Rome Odunze. Bo Nix, Troy Franklin, and Mar'Keise Irving also had monster games but were just a field goal away from getting free football and another shot to win.
Notre Dame's front 7 was the difference maker in their win over USC. The pressure that the Irish were able to get on Caleb Williams was enough to force 3 interceptions in the first half, allowing the Irish to jump out to a lead and they maintained it all the way through. Sam Hartman threw for 2 touchdowns and protected the football.
Arizona's Noah Fifita is the truth... Washington St got the first points of the day, but failed the 2 pt conversion, and it was all Arizona from then on out. Arizona went on to score 44 unanswered with 9 different receivers catching passes.
